B.S., Financial Mathematics/M.S. Financial Analytics

Today's financial analysts need superior statistical knowledge and programming know-how to solve the future financial problems faced by banks, hedge funds and wealth management offices and ultimately be successful in the complex, technology-driven financial industry.

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, in cooperation with the Finance Department at Stevens Institute of Technology, offers a dual degree program that allows qualified financial mathematics majors to take three courses at Seton Hall that would jumpstart their master's program in financial analytics at Stevens.

With the three courses at Seton Hall, students would be able to complete the other seven courses required for the master's in one year and would only need to pay for one year of graduate school at Stevens. They then would graduate in five years with a Bachelor of Science in Financial Mathematics from Seton Hall and a Master of Science in Financial Analytics from Stevens.

Curriculum

The accelerated curriculum can be completed in five years to obtain the M.S. in Financial Analytics degree within one additional year at Stevens Institute of Technology, after completing the B.S. in Financial Mathematics at Seton Hall University.
