The M.S.N. in Nursing Administration and Executive Nurse Leadership program prepares nurses to shape healthcare policy, drive strategic decisions, and oversee high-quality care across diverse systems.
This asynchronous online program is taught by experienced nurse leaders — including the program director, a former NJ Board of Nursing executive director — and offers students strong mentorship, opportunities to engage in faculty research, and access to federally funded interprofessional initiatives.

Admissions Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree with a major in nursing from an N.L.N.A.C., A.C.E.N., or C.C.N.E. accredited program;
- For recent BSN graduates, acceptance will be granted post NCLEX passing by August 15th of the year admitted to the program; proof of one year full-time employment is required prior to the start of practicum courses (year 2).

Curriculum Overview
The curriculum focus is on the evolving set of skills required in an integrated healthcare delivery system including informatics, marketing, reimbursement, risk management, negotiation and corporate integrity. The program also provides administrative practicums which foster and support immersive experiences with nurse executives in various healthcare settings.
Students completing this 35-credit program are eligible to sit for the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Nursing Administrator Examination and the Commission for Case Management Certification (CCMC) Examination. Upon successful completion of all curriculum requirements, students may also apply and sit for the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Board of Governors Examination to advance as a Fellow.
