Admissions Requirements
The M.S. in Physician Assistant program welcomes your application and questions about the admissions process. Our program is rigorous, and the admissions process is extremely selective.
In reviewing applications, the admissions committee considers academic performance, GRE scores, healthcare experience and letters of recommendation. Students with incomplete prerequisites may apply; however, they must state how they will satisfy the prerequisites by the June 1st prior to the start of the program.
Seton Hall University does not participate in CASPA; all applicants must complete the online application for graduate admission, selecting "School of Health and Medical Sciences" - "M.S." - "M.S. in Physician Assistant" within the appropriate drop-down menus when prompted.

Curriculum Overview
Seton Hall’s P.A. program is team-taught by practicing P.A.s, physicians and doctoral-trained faculty. The curriculum builds a solid foundation in medical science, clinical skills and research — preparing graduates to become competent and compassionate P.A.s
This 96-credit, three-year program equips students to deliver high-quality care through continuous clinical training. From the first semester, students engage directly with patients, practicing history-taking and physical exam skills.
The second and third years build on that foundation with hands-on learning across varied clinical settings. Students complete a minimum of 52 weeks of core and elective rotations, gaining real-world experience in diverse areas of care.
