College of Arts and Sciences
Our doctoral students rave about McNulty Hall, our state-of-the-art research and teaching center, where they learn from some of chemistry’s brightest minds and work beside them in cutting-edge STEM-designated research programs.
The research opportunities extend to our neighbors, too. The department is committed to collaborative research with other institutions, particularly the chemical industry in northern New Jersey, and boasts strong corporate partnerships with companies like Bristol Myers Squibb.
These partnerships provide chemistry program students with valuable industry connections and research opportunities. Students work closely with faculty, mirroring the collaborative mentorship model common to both academic industry settings. These collaborations and research experiences prepare students with the transferable skills – and confidence – to move into related chemistry industry positions or academic roles.
