Clare Boothe Luce Scholarship

Eligibility Requirements

1. Must be a female graduate student.
2. Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident.
3. Must be an M.S. or Ph.D. student in the departments of Biological Sciences, Chemistry and Biochemistry, Mathematics and Computer Science or Physics. These fellowships are not to be used for students planning careers in the medical field.

Application Procedures

All students who are applying to eligible graduate programs and who meet the eligibility requirements themselves will be automatically considered for the CBL scholarship program. No additional application materials are necessary. The CBL committee will contact potential candidates with any questions that arise.

Existing students who would like to be considered should submit their application materials to Michael Dooney, Ph.D. ([email protected]) by March 1. Please review the application guidelines for application criteria, procedure and more information.

Renewal Procedures

CBL graduate scholarships last one year and can be renewed once, for a total of 2 years maximum. To be renewed, students must be making satisfactory progress toward their degree and submit an annual summary of their research and related activities. The Dean’s Office will annually contact award recipients to request their annual summaries.
