University Launches New Ad Campaign Highlighting Purpose-Driven Education

Seton Hall has launched a comprehensive new image advertising campaign across northern
New Jersey, bringing the University’s message – and its Pirate pride – to some of
the region’s busiest and most visible public spaces, from Newark Liberty International
Airport to Hoboken Terminal. Throughout the spring and summer, the campaign will
appear across the New Jersey Transit rail system, including stations in South Orange
and along major commuter hubs such as Montclair, Morristown, Metropark, Newark, Jersey
City and Hoboken.
The campaign also extends to Newark Airport’s Terminal A, where travelers moving through security will encounter the vibrant Seton Hall messaging on large-format digital screens. Additional billboards are located in Newark -- including locations near the Prudential Center and Seton Hall Law School, further expanding the University’s visibility across key commuter and cultural corridors
Collectively the campaign is expected to generate more than 17 million impressions during the busy spring and summer travel seasons, significantly increasing awareness of Seton Hall’s graduate programs and brand across the region.
The ads focus on graduate studies and are designed to connect with prospective students
at a pivotal moment when they are considering the next chapter of their academic journey.
With compelling messaging, the ads highlight how Seton Hall graduate programs can
help future students go further, find their purpose and reach their greater aim. The
campaign, says Christopher Cuccia, Ed.D., associate provost for academic and graduate
affairs, “will help expand awareness of Seton Hall as a dynamic center for graduate
education in fields as diverse as counseling, business and healthcare, cybersecurity,
education and social work.”
Reflecting key aspects of Seton Hall’s refreshed brand platform, the campaign is informed by recent research and an updated brand strategy centered on purpose, resilience, our Catholic mission, a good humored and welcoming culture and a longstanding commitment to academic excellence. “Our new campaign creates an exciting opportunity to share who we are and highlight the transformative possibilities a Seton Hall education can offer,” explains Pegeen Hopkins, assistant vice president for strategic communications and brand.
